林剑表示，个别国家和机构借香港特区的司法案件恶意抹黑香港、诋毁香港法治、干涉中国内政，中方对此坚决反对，已就此提出严正交涉。香港事务纯属中国内政。我们敦促有关方面切实尊重中国主权，尊重香港法治，停止政治操弄，停止以任何方式干预香港事务、干涉中国内政。
